Privacy Policy

When you ask for a quote

When you send the quote form, we receive your name, phone number, email address and message, and anything else you choose to add: your address and city, and up to five photos. The form also tells us which page you sent it from.

The form sends your request to our office by email, at info@rogerslandscapes.ca, through Google’s Gmail service. We use it to reply to you, prepare your quote and carry out the work you ask for. We do not sell your information.

Calls and emails from the website

When you tap our phone number or email address on the website, Google Analytics records that the link was used. It does not record the number you call from or what you write.

If you reach the website from one of our Google ads, the phone number shown may be replaced with a Google forwarding number. Calls to it still ring through to us, and Google tells us the time and length of the call and the caller’s area code, so we know which ads lead to calls.

Analytics and advertising

The website uses these services, which set cookies or similar technology in your browser:

• Google Analytics, to count visits and see which pages are used, from what kind of device and roughly where in the world.
• Google Ads, to know whether a visit from one of our ads leads to a call, and to show our ads to people who have visited the website.
• Meta Pixel, to know which pages are visited and when a quote request is sent, so we can measure and show our ads on Facebook and Instagram.

These services handle the information under their own policies: Google’s privacy policy and Meta’s privacy policy. You can turn off personalized ads in your Google ad settings and your Facebook ad preferences, and you can block Google Analytics with Google’s opt-out add-on. Blocking cookies in your browser also works and does not stop the website from working.

Maps

The map in the footer and on the Contact page is a Google Maps map. Google may set cookies when it loads, under Google’s privacy policy.

Running the website

Like any website, ours receives technical information such as your IP address and browser type so it can show you the pages. The quote form also uses your IP address for 15 minutes to stop spam.

Google, Meta and the company that hosts our website may store information outside Canada, including in the United States.

Seeing, correcting or deleting your information

You can ask us what personal information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call us at (905) 827-8158, email info@rogerslandscapes.ca or write to us at 4009 Appleby Line, Burlington, ON L7M 0Y7.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page with a new date.
